Channel Islands
The race of Alderley, Guernsey and Jersey are UK islands close to the French coast. Sailing trips to this areas are interesting due to the channel crossings, high tidal planning on rough seas.
Distance is approx. 300 nautical miles. We will use private cars or a small van from Veldhoven to Saint Malo.
Saint Malo has rent a boat.
Islands sub-tropical, colorful, palm trees, white beaches. Orange – red-brown rocks, azure blue waters. Food is combined British and French menus. Also Indian restaurants as in England. For your fortune many financial institutions as well.

When/How Long?
Between 17 August 2020 and 13 September 2020
1 week. Driving to Saint Malo – Friday-Saturday (7 h 45 min)
Saturday departure by boat. Week sailing. Return on Sunday by car.
Who?
Intended for experienced skippers and co-skippers. Sight, tidal difference of 10m and currents 3 knots open space, at critical parts up to 7 knots.
TKN, MARCOM-B, many unmarked obstacles near the islands.
Crew should have experience on open seas.
